Help & trust
The rental is agreed and carried out directly between you and the rental company — Viarenty isn't part of it. Here's what already protects your request, and what to do if things go wrong.
Verified rental companies
Every agency is checked (business identity, insurance, director's ID) before it can publish a single listing.
Public reviews
After every rental, the customer can rate the rental company. These reviews stay visible to future customers.
Moderated listings
Every vehicle is reviewed by our team before publication (photos, documents, consistency of the information).
1. Try another channel
If WhatsApp goes unanswered, try the phone number or email shown on the listing.
2. Don't rely on a single rental company
For your next searches, use the group quote request: up to 5 rental companies contacted at once.
3. Report it to us
A rental company that never replies is something we want to know about: contact support — it can affect their visibility on the platform.
The rental itself (condition report, deposit, mileage, damage) remains settled directly between you and the rental company, as stated in our terms of use: Viarenty isn't a party to the rental contract and can't stand in for that agreement. You still have concrete options:
Leave an honest review
It stays visible to every future customer of that rental company.
Report the rental company to support
In case of a serious or repeated breach, their account can be suspended.
Turn to mediation
As a consumer, you can freely refer the matter to the consumer mediator or the EU's online dispute resolution platform, as stated in our terms and conditions.
